I found these leaf skeletons fixed in the frost on a garden table. I used a 60mm Macro-Elmarit (Leitz) mounted via an adapter on one of my Canon 5D mk2's. The disc like out of focus patterns occur when using this lens wide open at f2.8.
There used to be a Rolls Royce Dealer in Moseley Village, Birmingham (Opposite the Bulls Head Pub). I asked to photograph inside the showroom one Saturday morning September 1982. Looking at the negatives now I'm intrigued by the patterned carpet under the wheels of these iconic vehicles.
Technical details, Mamiya RB67, Ilford HP5 rated at 650 iso dev in Microphen developer. Nikkormat FT3 28mm Nikkor using Ilford XP2 film.

Len Horton's Butchers Shop was on the Alum Rock Road, Saltley, Birmingham. The premises were originally built as a butchers and date back to the 19th century. Len took over the business from being an apprentice in 1942 he retired on Valentines Day (Feb 14th) 1998.
These photographs were taken with a primitive Kodak DC40 digital camera, the quality is low compared to modern cameras. As part of an exploration into digital photography this was my first documentary study using this technology. Titled "Blue Brick, Red Paint & Sawdust" this work formed part of the work for my MA degree at BIAD, Birmingham. UK. Birmingham Central Library Photographic Archive have a digital copy their collection.
